My students need books that would help them with vocabulary they need for Kindergarten. My students are Dual Language Learners and I want to send books home with them to help in learning new vocabulary.

My Students
The children in my classroom are very inquisitive and eager to learn! They LOVE reading books and sharing about what they've read. They enjoy hands-on activities, movements, and experiencing the world around them through their bodies. They like exploring and learning. They like to be around their peers when learning about their world. Cooperative activities are beneficial for them as they thrive in each other's encouragement and love.
They're between the ages of 4 and 5.
Majority of them are Dual Language Learners. Most of our children are receiving Free and Reduced meals.
My Project
My project aims to provide books to each of my students for home use and classroom use. These books would provide my students with academic vocabulary they would encounter in Kindergarten. As research has shown, by age 3, there is a 30 million word gap between the children who come from a more affluent background and those who come from a less economically advantaged background. As my students are from economically disadvantaged background, I want to give them additional resources, such as these BOOKS, where they could hear and internalize these new words that would help in developing their language and vocabulary skills.
Additionally, sending these books home would encourage their parents to interact with them and use the words that they learn from the books in daily conversations.
