My Project

Our students are in need of more fun, interesting, and inspiring books in the library! I am asked so often for graphic novels and am trying to expand our collection. I find that struggling readers, of which there are many right now in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades because of the pandemic, gravitate towards graphic novels that look and feel like big books, but are very approachable, and feel acceptable by their peers who may be at higher reading levels. I also deal with the need to start older readers in much lower level books, and Mo Willems is always an acceptable start. This donation will really help me keep books in the hands of kids who need them most!
