I work with amazing first grade students who amaze me each and every day. I work in a very low-income area school district with students and families who face challenges greater than I have ever seen. Yet, my students come in every day with a smile on their face and try their best day in and day out.
"You are sometimes the only person that a child has that believes in them, more than they believe in themselves." My job is extremely important.
Not only do I wake up every day to teach my students, I first have to inspire them that they can do great things as soon as they walk in the door.
Some of my students have very little, or no support at all once they leave my classroom, and that is why I need all the tools I can gain in order to help them as best as I can during their short time with me each day.
Donating to our project will help each of our students stay organized and have functional materials to help them succeed! The borders and classroom decor will be used to create a fun, exciting, and welcoming classroom environment that students will enjoy walking into each morning. The book bins will be used to organize our classroom library so that students can easily access books that they enjoy. Each student will also be given their own book bin to keep books at their level and fun books to take with them to stations and around the room! The caddies will be given to each table to help students organize their materials that we use every day!
Please help me to provide my students with a fun, colorful, and exciting room to walk into each and every day!
These materials will be used year after year to help each group of students be successful!
