Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Schools these days are continuing to make cuts in all areas of education. My students deserve to have the basic necessities for a quality education. Our students are eager to learn and wanting to present their educational findings in a professional approach. My classroom is in a financially disadvantaged area and often times we are confined to the very basic of resources. I try everything possible to provide them opportunities that make learning come to life for them.
Our students need the opportunity of math and science experiences in COLOR to better contextualize problem solving and understanding of concepts being taught.
The provided printer will help provide more opportunity for students to experiment and discover on their own, resulting in more lasting results in comprehension of provided learning opportunities. By having access to color to help with graphing, charting, landforms etc. we are ensuring a greater degree of success in helping our learners make meaningful connections and internalize their learning concepts and notetaking.
I firmly believe that having access to color printing and a printer for both teacher and student usage will help my students build confidence and knowledge in their learning. The concepts being taught will be brought to life and give my students a better knowledge of reality and the opportunity to process long term understanding.
