Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their energy, curiosity, and determination to grow, no matter the challenges they face. They are a wonderfully diverse group of learners, and each one brings something special to our classroom community. I teach at a Title I school, and many of my students are working hard to improve their reading and writing skills while also navigating the ups and downs of middle school.
The high-interest books will help spark a love for reading by giving students access to stories they’re excited to dive into.
The spelling card game will make language practice feel more like fun than work, building confidence in a way that keeps them engaged. The sensory stickers will offer calm and focus for students who need a little extra support to stay grounded. These tools will help my students feel seen, supported, and excited to learn every day.
