My Project

In 11th grade we cover American Literature and one piece of American Lit that our students tend to enjoy time and again is The Crucible by Arthur Miller. We read it in the fall as the leaves are changing and the spooky season is upon us.

Our Puritan unit is always a hit because of Arthur Miller's The Crucible.

Students make connections to McCarthyism and the Red Scare and even connect to events that are more current such as book banning when we delve into this play. But our copies of the play are tattered and worn, and I would like to have a fresh copies for the next school year so that students are able to follow the words and are not worried about taping pages back together correctly.
