This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach grade 10 ELA and high school Reading and Writing Enrichment classes. Our incredible school is stocked with classics for our students to read, yet we are in desperate need of newly published award-winning novels that are engaging and relatable to our population.
Please help us expand our literary adventures through newly published novels.
There is nothing better than getting lost in a good book! Acquiring 30 hardcover books that can be shared with other educators and classes throughout our building is our goal. We cannot wait to see Celeste Ng's characters come to life on the page!
