My Project

Books are always something needed in any classroom. We do not read our books as a class, but rather use them as reference materials for whatever project we have going on at the farm. We do all kinds of fun stuff in class, from planting butterfly gardens to eating edible flowers in salads. We have also added a bread making book because we have three bread makers and enjoy the loaves it makes.

Being able to learn outside of the traditional "box" has enabled my students to experience so many fun activities and be able to eat lots of new foods they have never tried before.

Books are one of the most important supplies a classroom can have, and with these books in this project we will be able to learn a lot more about all kinds of fun stuff! We also need this brooder heater to keep our chicks warm.
