My Project
Books can greatly benefit special needs students by offering tailored learning experiences that address their unique challenges and strengths.
I plan to use these books that use simple language, visual aids, or interactive formats that can enhance reading skills and comprehension, supporting students with speech or language delays.
I would also like to use these different types of books to offer multisensory learning opportunities, combining text, visuals, and tactile elements, which help cater to various learning styles that each student has. Some are just learning to label things verbally and some are nonverbal. Then I have students who are working on improving their reading comprehension. I have also added a bookshelf to house all these useful books.
My goal is to also improve reading comprehension, vocabulary, and overall literacy among special needs students by providing engaging, accessible books.
My students are special because they bring diversity to learning experiences, challenging educators to think more inclusively and adapting teaching methods that benefit all students.
