Read, Play, and Learn - 4th-grade

Help me give my students opportunities to read, play, and learn in our 4th-grade classroom with some new and engaging materials that can be used for many years to come!

My Project

I love teaching 4th grade and have worked at Northview Elementary, a Title 1 building, for 24 years. I am always looking for new ways to help my 4th graders read, learn, and play together. I am excited to have items like Telestrations to help during my class meetings and build community through games. Play-Doh will be an amazing tool for my calm space in my classroom and for kids to work together to use with projects like Stop Motion. Playing cards and dice will help students in playing math games, working on math facts in different ways. In addition to tools for my students, I would love to be more mobile around the classroom with my computer, so I am not always tied to my teacher's desk. A mobile laptop cart would help provide flexibility for me in the classroom.
