My Project

We need to breathe life back into classrooms by providing new and engaging books to students. Books help us get back to basics with empathy skills, concentration, and imagination.

All too often, teens are magnetized towards screens.

Books are an intellectual way to combat boredom.

Access to quality, diverse, and modern literature is a hurdle for my classroom. New class proposals have been declined on the rationale of budget. My Midwest teenagers secretly are interested in the thrills of literature. Choice novels serve a purpose within our classroom community.

Young adult novels host relationships and connection that not many other plot lines can.

Ms. Jahn will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 13.
