Help me give my students the opportunity to continue learning during this unprecedented time. My students come from disadvantaged backgrounds and the Fire HD 8" tablet will help them continue with their online learning.
This is a very challenging time that we did not plan for. I remember ending my last lesson on March 11th, 2020 and escorting my students out when school was over with goodbyes and see you all tomorrow. Nobody ever thought of school closure due to corona virus. I never imagined that it will be our last goodbye till now. However, we moved to online learning.
My students and I have been doing everything possible to make the online learning experience a special one.
My student and I have a daily schedule and we participate three times a week in Microsoft Teams for our online learning.
My students have shown a great level of participation and engagement.
My Project
My students come from an economically disadvantaged background and they need the tablets to transition to our virtual learning. I have been having a virtual meeting and online classes and my student do not have any technology devices to join the Microsoft Teams for our lessons. Also, I am recording lessons at home for them to view and continue to learn.
Now that every learning that we participate in online there has been a drastic reduction of students participation due to lack of technology devices and I need your support.
