Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are a remarkable group of children. They possess a desire to learn and curiosity that extends far beyond the classroom. I have some diverse learners who need more one on one instruction, and some learners are far beyond their grade level. My main focus with students is to bring them to grade level in reading and math. By using technology, I am allowing them to work at the reading level through various reading websites as well as introducing research based projects.
My Project
Much of my students lack reading skills and the 3rd grade is an important year for them. I am learning to learn new approaches to engage my little ones.
My asking donations will provide my students with individuals books that they can sit and listen to.
Each student will be provided with headphones and books at their individualized reading level.
Because I have many levels of readers I think this listening center will prove to be a tremendous opportunity for them to be engaged in their books and allow them to read without my assistance.
