Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in a Head Start classroom environment where I tried to provide them with the best materials and lessons that can be helpful to obtain knowledge and make the best to achieve their future learning goals. By reading books that contains songs will help students with language development, memory and other skills.

By adding these books that contains nursery rhymes to our library will help my students to develop love for reading and increase their vocabulary in their native language.

In addition, students will be able to sing nursery rhymes in their home language that plays a vital role in helping them connect with their families. When children hear familiar stories and songs in the language spoken at home, it strengthens the bond between school learning and family life.
