My Project
As a Gifted Resource Teacher, I will act as facilitator while 8-10 high level learners join me for 30 minutes a day to extend their knowledge and skills through book studies.
This group of students are blessed as they are highly intelligent and hard workers, but they are challenged because it is difficult to grow when you are already so high.
These sets of novels will allow me to enrich these students through skills practice, vocabulary exposure, and open ended discussion above and beyond the standard curriculum.
The books I have selected for this project are recommended in the language arts curriculum we use, and they will compliment what the students are learning in their regular classrooms.
