Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love to learn! They are interested in drawing, science, reading funny books, retelling stories creatively, and learning anything new.

My students are at an age where their minds are growing by the minute, and they are so eager to learn every day.

They love hands-on activities and exploring our classroom environment. I encourage them to constantly challenge themselves and to learn from each other. I promote healthy behavior, healthy eating, and a positive learning environment. They are active learners always trying their best.

My Project

My students need access to books at home and in the classroom. I am looking to make my reading area more comfortable, while allowing student to take books home and read them without losing them.

I am requesting Mark-Its to help students know where to read in the classroom and where to line up when checking out books.

I am also requesting book pockets and book bags so students can check out books to take home safely. Last, I am requesting 2 buddy reading rugs to encourage partner reading for students still learning how to read.

These products are special to a classroom and would support the love of literacy in my students.
