My Project
My students are eager readers who thrive when they can connect with a great story. One book that truly captivates readers and sparks powerful discussions is Holes by Louis Sachar. This project will help put this engaging novel into the hands of each of my students, giving them the opportunity to read, reflect, and grow as readers and thinkers. Holes is more than just a story—it’s a journey through friendship, justice, resilience, and redemption. The novel offers rich vocabulary, layered storytelling, and themes that connect with students’ lives in meaningful ways. It’s also a perfect platform for creative projects, deep discussions, and cross-curricular learning.
