This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Millionaire Next Door book positively impacted my students last year. They read it in class during Advisory for 20 minutes every day. Some of my graduating Seniors opened individual investment accounts and started saving for retirement. Stop Acting Rich is part two of the Millionaire Next Door and further complements the stories written in Part One.

The Millionaire Next Door book triggered conversations with my junior and senior students in class about how to achieve economic success and save for a rainy day.

I continuously encourage my students to read and become proficient at understanding financial literature so they can pave their own path toward financial freedom. My students would greatly benefit from reading part 2.
