This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Reading is an integral part of our coursework at Rogers! With these class sets we will be equipped to hold a book study where each student has a book to engage with the text. These texts are realistic fiction and we want expose them to relatable events.
These two texts impact and educate our students on world events that influence their lives which lead to lively discussions in our classrooms.
Focusing on different genres and how well written books can expose and deepen a student's comprehension is a primary focus for these books and book studies.
