Read and Share a Book with Our Outdoor Reading Spot
Help me give my students a free, on-site, outdoor library so they can pick a book to read and the families can use the bench beside the library to share literacy and family time.

My Project
Our school is a K-8 school and the students do not always have access to a free outdoor library. We would love for our student council to take care and maintain a resource where kids and their parents can go together to enjoy a book. Having a resource in an outdoor library where the families can stop by, pick out a book or two to take home, or use the bench to sit with their families to read.
Our goal would be to promote literacy in families and give families a free resource to do that.
It would not only be for the elementary school, but chapter books would be added for the middle school.
Our community is a middle-class community that wants the best for their kids. Providing an opportunity like this would allow them a free place to go and enjoy a good book. Also, it would allow our student council the opportunity to be in charge of this project and see the importance of reading and family time.
