This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students read very interesting literature in materials they cannot mark the pages on. This is unfortunate for budding readers that are building their critical thinking skills and need to quickly jot on the page. Enter the transparent Post-It note! These sheets can carefully be placed on the page of any printed material, safely be written on and then easily and safely be removed from the page when needed without causing damage to the page!

It is important for developing readers to have access to the tools that will help them better develop their critical thinking as they read.

These transparent sticky notes that can safely adhere to the printed page along with the pens that write smoothly on the sheet, will give my students the opportunity to "mark-up" a page without really marking the page itself, giving them opportunity to immediately jot their thinking as they read right on the page! It is a win-win situation. Thank you for partnering with me in developing today's readers for a stronger tomorrow.
