This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The majority of my students live below the poverty level.
My students face immense challenges outside of school that they can't control.
Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is having access to a wide variety of books to find THE ONE.
The students in my class strive for excellence and always try their best.
In my classroom we are scholars striving for greatness. I know my students will be successful because I truly believe in all of them. Every child deserves a good book.
My Project
My classroom library needs to grow in order to best accommodate my wonderful students! They deserve to have a library that has variety and books to love ! My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. It is where we are striving to establish a love for reading that will be something that once instilled in them that will last forever.
Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read.
My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
