Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love it when I read to them. Students get comfortable on the rug and I sit on my unique teacher stool when doing a read-aloud. This allows my students to feel more comfortable and feel safe in school.
Read-aloud time allows me to connect with my students on a deeper level.
We can focus on high-interest topics and practice prediction and sequencing skills. This is also my favorite part of the day!
This project will provide my classroom with more read-aloud stories for my students this year and for many years to come.
