My students need 36 Read Aloud Books, including "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!", "The Snowy Day" and "Rumpelstiltskin".

I teach All-Day Kindergarten. I have 24 students, 16 are boys!! Reading is the core of my instruction and having the students all day I am able to focus more of my time to teaching reading comprehension skills.

I was able to purchase an amazing Read Aloud curriculum called Interactive Read-Alouds by Linda Hoyt. The curriculum focuses on comprehension, story elements, vocabulary and literacy language, literary elements and devices, genre, and writing traits. The curriculum contains over 60 lessons using classic children's literature. Although I have a few of the books needed for the curriculum I am still missing a majority of the books needed.

My students need Read Aloud Books to supplement a Read Aloud Curriculum that I use. These books would bring excitement to reading and comprehension to these kindergarteners. Also these books would assist other kindergarteners for years to come.
