This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This rug would be very useful in our classroom! We could gather on this rug during read-alouds, videos, brain breaks, yoga stretches, reading with a partner, small group work, and it could act as a stage for presentations.
This classroom rug will serve so many useful purposes!
It’s essential for learning and engagement. Students sitting at only their desks for 8 hours a day is not physically healthy for them. Kids need movement, stretches, playtime, and a way and space to move their bodies! This rug will give them a little freedom from sitting behind desks all day. My students and I will be so grateful to be gifted this rug.
