Each year, I am blessed with an amazing group of children, from whom I learn from daily. Creating these projects not knowing how this school year will start is difficult. But one thing I know is that my students will still be exposed to a world of books and leave my class with a love for reading.
My Project
I am requesting read aloud books for my students. As we are still unsure about the beginning of the school year, I am preparing to be teaching both in person and remotely. Either way, having great read aloud books makes a world of difference. I am asking for read aloud books that focus on our current situation: COVID-19 and wearing masks. I also requested some books that discuss cultural differences to keep students constantly working towards being accepting of others even when they appear different than themselves. We all need a good laugh sometimes, especially during this craziness. So I added some fun and silly books to keep the kids laughing.
