Read Aloud Books Needed During E-Learning

Help me give my students access to engaging books for their e-learning experience.

My Students

Every year that I am in education, I learn more things about my students and their lives. I have a variety of learners and most live in poverty. 100% of our students received free breakfast and lunch.

The students that I work with come to school to be loved.

Many of their main goals are not to come to school to learn. They want to come to school to be in a safe environment where a routine is in place. My students know that when they come to school in my classroom, they will be safe and loved. It is very heart warming to see the excitement on their faces when I provide opportunities for them to love school even more. However, as you can imagine, it gets pretty expensive to continue to provide new items each year for our classroom. I'm looking for others to help fund making my classroom as inviting as possible.

Can you help me reach my goal?

My Project

During this difficult time of e-learning, I am struggling to find books that are engaging for students. I did not bring home any books from my class library since I did not expect the year to end so abruptly. Unfortunately, no staff is allowed back into the building to get the resources we need in order to get the books that I would like to use as read aloud for lessons. Therefore, I would like books to read aloud each day to support with student lessons. Since online learning is so difficult, I chose books that I believe will keep my students engaged in their learning.

Student having access to engaging books is very important to student success.

Please consider donating books to help my students stay engaged in their online learning during this difficult time. I appreciate all of your time and consideration in donating books to help increase my student's academic success.
