Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Although my first grade students come from low income households, they come to school ready to learn. My students are always eager to start the day and get to work.

We are a dual language class.

My eager beavers are always excited to try new and exciting things I have to offer them everyday. My students deserve the best and that is why I work hard to get them what I can. They are very briliant little scientist ready to discover what is scheduled for the day.

My Project

My students need spanish read-alongs to work during centers or for individual work.They will be used to check for comprehension and fluency. The CDs included will make it awesome for them to also listen and follow a long. I am sure my students will love them.

My students also need magnetic letters with board so that they can create words while learning and having fun.

My little students will enjoy learning hands-on and sharing with others.

This year I would like to start by having all the supplies ready for them since day one. Last school year, we started with Hurricane Harvey and it messed up our instruction and days. I want to provide them with everything so that they will be focused and ready to come back to school happy.
