Help me give my students a six-station listening center where they can enjoy read-along books during our literacy block.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love about my students is their enthusiasm for bilingualism. They have the amazing opportunity to deepen their skills and abilities in what might be a heritage language for them, or an entirely new second language. This listening center will allow a group of students to read along with books in Spanish. They will practice their listening skills, as well as other important early reading skills, such as tracking words one-by-one, using words and illustrations to make sense of the story, and identifying the parts of a book. This resource will especially support students who are not yet reading because being read to is one of the best ways to prepare for reading because it builds vocabulary and content knowledge.
