This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Your generous support of this project will provide my students with a collection of high-quality, high-interest bilingual books that they can read along with. Young children love being read to and my students are no exception. This set of books will provide my students with even more opportunities to be read to, which in turn will deepen their love of books, all while developing their vocabulary, making connections between spoken word and written text, and developing their identity as a reader.
My students will experience the thrill of choosing a book to read along with, and they will get to share their favorite books with their classmates.
