My Project
Our small group reading and math tables are in need of some compact and comfortable seating options for students. The stools are lightweight and easy for them to carry and move around the room when seating is needed for teamwork activities as well. These easily stack or hide under the tables when we aren't using them.
Reading aloud is a great technique to improve fluency and reading skills.
I am requesting plush sea turtle reading buddies. My second graders are expected to read at home on a daily basis. I want to provide our class sea turtle mascot for each student to adopt, name and take home. Reading aloud to these sweet plush animals will motivate my students to read nightly.
The magnetic files will be used to organize their weekly buddy reading books to make them quickly accessible to students.
