This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students live in low poverty areas. They often don't have books at home that can be read to them. Therefore, their comprehension is not great.
Books are a key item to helping students be successful in their education.
I am asking for your help in getting books into the homes of my students. My hope is that they will start gathering books when they see how much fun it is to read. I love to read and want to instill that love in each of my students. I appreciate any help you can give.
