Help me give my students TIME for Kids magazine subscriptions to help my kindergarten students stay connected with national news that is appropriate for their age.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
There are many important events happening in our nation on a daily basis. The students that are in my kindergarten class may not be privy to national news events or may have them presented them in a suitable way for their age. With TIME For Kids subscriptions, my students will be able to learn about national news events in a away that is more appropriate.
It is important for all students, no matter their age, to know about the events that occur across our nation.
Simply watching the news on T.V. can be overwhelming for young children. The language may be too advanced and some images may be intimidating for young viewers. TIME For Kids will be a great tool to help my kindergarteners be informed about national news events in an appropriate way.
