My Students
My school is a Title I School with 100% free lunch for all. My students are creative, respectful, and have an enormous love for learning. My students are investigative learners who enjoy also engaging in deep discussion with their peers. They love hands-on and engaging projects that allow them to think outside the box. They come to school each day ready to try new things in order to grow. Our school services many students that are in temporary housing. They are great and such an inspiration to all!
Many students in my classroom complete work by using multiple modalities.
Students in my classroom have difficulty completing assignments due to the lack of resources that are available in the room. My students are eager to come to school everyday and learn despite everything they have to deal with. I believe with the right resources and materials my students will be able to soar to new heights!
My Project
With the school year almost here, I am planning and gathering resources for the year.
I want my students to be excited on the first day of school and have a Scholastic News subscription ready for them.
I'm asking for the subscription that will be read and use throughout the year. They will be read during large group instruction and small group instruction. This subscription will ensure my students will be excited and ready to learn. My students will love learning about all the topics in the Scholastic News articles. The videos included will be a great resource for my students as well.
