My Students

My students love to learn new information. They are curious about the world around them. Many days, I have to research information to answer a child's question. For example, one student asked about a liger. I was unsure about ligers so we googled the word. We found the answer and made a sweet boy happy!

My first grader's are a wonderful, smart group of students who deserve the best education!

The are highly motivated and want to learn about everything.

My Project

Scholastic News provides students information about the world around them. Our school does not have science or social studies books, so these magazines give students the opportunity to expand their knowledge in these subjects.

In addition, this company provides online enrichments which meet reading and writing standards.

Also, students will be able to learn new vocabulary and watch 1-2 minute videos about the subject.

Scholastic News allows students to travel outside their town without leaving. I will use the magazine once a week to travel to another place or learn something new. They can use this information throughout their years in school.
