Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My second graders come from various backgrounds but all are enthusiastic about learning. Our classroom environment is welcoming to all their unique quallities. Students are always eager to learn new things and excited to participate in class activities.
Our second graders are creative, inquisitive, and have a great potential to learn.
It is my hope to meet each student's individual needs as well as their personal goals.
My Project
My students will be excited to learn from children their age, as well as seeing content that is relatable to them. Using printed copies of Scholastic News at school will maintain student engagement as well as foster an excitement for learning. In these unprecedented times, making digital resources readily accessible from home is highly important for those students who need it. It will also provide an opportunity for parent involvement in their child's learning. Children will use these subscriptions to grow as readers, thinkers, and creative learners. I'm excited to provide this opportunity for them.
