This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school celebrates Dr. Seuss's birthday each spring and my students always love activities about Dr. Seuss! Dr. Seuss is always a favorite author for Second Graders!

During the first week of March, we celebrate what is called, "Read Across America!"

My students and I read a variety of books but a very popular series they love to read is by Dr. Seuss. During this week, we would love to celebrate literacy with reading, erasers, prizes in take-home bags, and more! We will enjoy the goldfish crackers as a treat as we read all of his books.
