Read Across America: Camp Read a Lot

Help me give my students materials to transform our room in celebration of Read Across America week.

My Project

The love my students have for books makes me so happy. They are constantly wanting to go to the library and take book tests. I could put a movie on in the classroom and most of them would still prefer to read. How amazing is that?

I want to create a room transformation to solidify that love of reading and celebrate Read Across America week .

I hope that this can be something fun and exciting they are able to participate in.

These items will help me transform the classroom into a camp. I will set up the tablecloths as tents above desks. I will set up the tents with the fake campfire and log cushions beside it. I can see so many possibilities for taking this experience and making it educational and exciting.
