My Students

My students come to our classroom every day full of energy and excitement and eager to start our day of learning! As a charter school serving over 600 students, we provide increased opportunities to students of low income families and diverse cultures. As a class of many cultures, we love to explore the different countries of the world in books, educational videos, and through sharing personal experiences.

Each day I come to work I am privileged to educate and inspire our future leaders, scientists, writers, teachers, world travelers... ANYTHING these students dream to be!

My Project

Our school will be celebrating Read Across America week starting February 26! We will be reading some of Dr.Seuss' books as a class and students will be independently reading his books, as well. Although we have a few Dr. Seuss books in our classroom, we do not have enough for all students to read! I am requesting book collections and individual books for all of my students to enjoy.

Since Read Across America is a week of celebrating our reading skills, I am also requesting a few additional materials for our classroom.
