This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Technology has transformed the way students learn today. Long gone are the days of the chalkboard. Students today tend to be much more engaged when things are on the move. A Samsung Galaxy Tablet will open a whole new world for them.
My students are second language learners who are struggling to meet proficiency.
They face the daily task of writing correctly and understanding the text in front of them. They come from homes in which parents value education, but might not be able to provide them with the necessary tools to be successful.
My Project
Your donations will help my students reach proficiency. They will be much more engaged and willing to participate in class once the Samsung Galaxy Tablet is connected to our Smartboard. My special needs students will also benefit. It would assist in making concepts and materials accessible to them. It is a great tool in making it easier for them to interact and be engaged daily.
Your donations will help give my students the opportunity to practice the skills they need to reach proficiency and give them access to concepts they need to succeed on a daily basis.
It will also serve as a motivational tool for them to continue learning. We are counting on your support to help provide them with a new learning experience.
