I am the school counselor to 265 students in a small, rural area in South Alabama. My students come from a variety of economic backgrounds, with over 75% receiving free or reduced lunch. My students are eager to learn and grow.
My students deserve the very best!
And although we have a limited school budget, we do our best to reach our students socially, emotionally, and academically. As a school counselor, I try to equip our students with the skills needed to be successful.
My Project
The HP PageWide Pro printer and HP ink will be used primarily to print a monthly color newsletter to enhance character education and parental involvement at our school. It is important that our parents are aware of current counseling topics and events happening in the school. The color newsletter will be eye-catching and attractive, which will enhance parental involvement and student engagement.
If funded, this HP printer will be the only printer in the school capable of printing large quantities in color.
Not only will the HP PageWide Pro be used to print monthly school counseling newsletters, but it will also help me to get much needed information to our students for special events such as Red Ribbon Week and Bully Prevention Week.
