Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our ICT (integrated co-teaching) class creates an inclusive environment for students with and without disabilities. We strive to teach our students that everyone is capable of growing as life long learners!

Our students live in a high needs environment and come to school each day wanting to do their very best work.

While some of our students are performing at grade level, most are performing much lower, on a kindergarten/first-grade level. This requires a lot of differentiated instruction and materials so that we as educators can meet our students where they are and promote their growth, keeping them on the right path in their educational careers!

My Project

My students come to school excited to learn, and they need a variety of materials in order to make their learning more individualized! My students need individual clipboards so that they can maximize their workspace, whether in the classroom or on a field trip. My students need digital timers in order to help be accountable for their time during individual work time or a break in the calm down corner. My students need sturdy book baggies that will last the entire year so that they can cherish their books and love of reading. My students need classroom bins in order to keep the classroom organized and beautiful.
