My students need a document camera to aid in their English acquisition. I do not have a Smartboard, this can act as an interactive whiteboard used with a projector.

My Students

My classroom is located in an urban setting. The building is old and has little, to no technology. However, the teachers and students are amazing! I have purchased a projector as well as paint and other construction supplies to make my classroom a welcoming, safe haven for my students to excel.

My students are simply amazing!

They rise to the occasion and never complain about their school building, although it is a bit run down! I always tell my students, you make the school, the building doesn't! We have very little technology and this document reader would open up a world of new learning for my students, specifically those who are struggling or ELL's. This donation could help me to create an interactive whiteboard that can be used with the projector that I already purchased. I want to inspire my students to believe in themselves and increase their intrinsic motivation to learn and be successful! Most students are visual learners; however, all students will benefit from this technology in the classroom. Thank you very much for your help and know that we are extremely grateful (-:

My Project

My students will benefit from the use of this document camera everyday. I will use in a multitude of ways, specifically to show work as well as to help close read and decipher the challenging curriculum of biology and human anatomy and physiology. Both disciplines rely heavily on a visual aspect and this added technology will only help to solidify their understanding. It will be utilized when doing their interactive notebooks as well as deciphering difficult text and concepts for my ELL's and struggling learners. If only the person kind enough to donate to our cause could see how amazing, wonderful, and respectful my students are! Although we are in an urban setting with a very low socioeconomic standing, our students rise to the occasion and push themselves harder and harder everyday! I couldn't be more proud and honored to be their teacher! Thank you very much!

This donation will help improve my classroom because it will create another avenue of learning.

It will benefit all my students, but again, specifically those whose native language is not English as well as those who are struggling with difficult content. This donation will change my students lives for the better because they will be given another method of learning! I am a visual learner, so I personally know how beneficial this new technology will be in the classroom. Thank you!!!
