My Project
The theatre program at NHS is nearly 40 years old. Many of the tools are also getting up there in years. As the tools aged, they have worn down, some even breaking completely. We are down to only 7 working drills in a class of nearly 40 students.
By supporting this project, you will help me to add tools to the inventory giving more students the chance to get hands-on construction experience.
With more tools, we would be able to move quicker and more efficiently in class (no more waiting around for a shared tool!) This means students would be able to get through more content in the same time span. This would give me the opportunity to expand the curriculum to include in depth lessons on technology used in the theatre as well, directly supporting our schools STEM ideals.
