Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students have finally started to recover the learning loss from the pandemic. Although their skills have started to recover and develop from the time of their distance learning, their curiosity, and ability to inquire about the world around us has diminished in many students. The students do not have as much opportunity to wonder, ask questions and explore the wonders of the life.
Ferrofluid, neodymium magnets and a plasma ball will not only provide a depth of differentiation for students to ask questions at their level but also accomplish this with minimal preparation time and connect to many different standards for them to be revisited.
The brain teaser metal puzzles require critical and lateral thinking and give students a quick brain break to fidget with something new and different. Videos can also be created where student can demonstrate how to solve them.
