Re-Building Our Classroom Library: Amazing Graphic Novels for Back-to-School
Help me give my students new, engaging graphic novels to re-build our classroom library. We need books like The Cardboard Kingdom and the newest Dog Man.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students and I spent this year in distance learning. Even though distance learning has been a struggle for my students in different ways, we have created amazing routines, art projects and science experiments. At the end of February, many of my students and I will be returning to in-school learning. It will be challenging and wonderful at the same time. I am requesting these supplies to get my classroom ready for our upcoming circumstances.
We are living through history.
My students are incredible people. They come with tenacity, creativity, and a wide variety of experiences and gifts. We work hard every day as scholars, artists, critical thinkers, and friends.
My Project
My students love getting lost in a book. My students need a vibrant, modern and engaging classroom library. Especially as we are returning to our classroom after 10 months of Distance Learning. Many of the graphic novels from our classroom library were distributed to students during Distance Learning--the books in this project will go a long way in re-building our library.
We are on our way to becoming great readers and your support is crucial to that goal.
The more than 50 graphic novels in this project are going to have such a big impact on my students; some of their favorite titles are included, like Dog Man and Plants vs. Zombies.
Books transport us to new worlds and give us new dreams to chase. "A book is a dream you hold in your hand," Neil Gaiman. My students are absolutely in love with books, and we need to keep building our classroom library. These books will be a perfect addition. Thank you for considering our project!
