Razzle Dazzle Collaborative Classroom Rug

Help me give my students the flexibility to sit in more than just their seat at their desk throughout the day. A rug will help pull small groups and give students the ability to collaborate.

My Project

Our classroom consists completely of tiled flooring with nowhere for students to comfortably sit and work together. When we read aloud stories, it is not ideal to have students sitting all across the room. I love having my students up close near each other to foster good conversations about the text.

I would love to give my students the ability to have not only a comfortable place to sit, but additionally, a place that is different than sitting at their desk all day long, and more conducive to collaboration with their peers.

This rug would give my students the flexibility to work in a different setting, which can help increase blood flow by sitting in a different place, brain power by sharing ideas and working with others, and give them a comfortable place to learn.
