My students are excited to read! They want to have many great books available to them, at their beginning level. Our classroom library is small and we are looking to dream big and read big!
My school is an inner city school.
We have an interesting mix of English Language Learners and high poverty students. Many of my students have no books in their homes. Books in the classroom are treasured. I want them to feel rich in their learning every day.
My Project
I am hoping to surround my students with as many great books as possible, especially those at their reading level. I aspire them to become life long readers and I believe it all begins with reading a book. My students are on fire, finding the perfect spot to read by themselves and settling in with good books. I want to be sure that there are plenty of books to keep them hooked on reading.

This is the best way to become an expert at reading. I would love to see each of my students surrounded by books to read and love! They are inspired, more books to choose from will keep the momentum going!
