Raspberry Pi Coding Projects

My students need some Raspberry Pi devices to practice coding in our library maker space.

My Students

My students are in a Title I setting. They have many of the same challenges as students around the country, but also have to deal with outside issues that I know I didn't even know about when I was their age.

They need access to tools to broaden their horizons and expand their knowledge of the world beyond their neighborhoods.

There is a lot of potential in my students, but they need to see what the rest of the world has to offer so they can reach for it.

My Project

My students need some Raspberry Pi computer devices for our library maker space. These devices will allow my students to practice coding and allows them to create their own projects.

I want to expose my students to different skills so they can make decisions about what jobs they want in the future.

Many students don't know a lot about computers, but the projects they can do with these devices will open up a new world of technology for them.

I have included some base sets of the Raspberry i devices, as well as a set that has a camera and a set with a screen. I added two books about programming so that the students and I can work and learn together.
