My Students

Hello and welcome to Ms. K's class! We are a great group of fifth graders of all different cultural backgrounds. We love challenging ourselves and always ask for more complex problems than what is being asked of us. We have a variety of economic levels in our class. There are many of us who have never been out of San Jose and long to experience what the world has to offer. We are constantly looking for ways to broaden our thoughts and ideas.

Fun, creative, curious, and eager to learn!

My students are all of these things. I really like to push my students to reach new heights that they never thought possible. I want them to know that when they enter the classroom, that it is the same place for them to be creative and take chances in their learning. My students look to me to find new and creative ways to teach them, and with funds not always there to allow that, I must find other ways to reach out.

My Project

These are random things that I have come across over the last few weeks that I need in my classroom. I am trying to do fun science projects, and I need pH strips to complete some of them. Also, the beaker set is so I can always have them in case I want to complete a project. You can never have too many playground balls on hand. I have had my current playground balls for three years, and they are all out of shape.

I want to provide fun in many ways for my class!
